It’s that time of the year again, apple picking season! I took the day off to go apple picking with Jess and Arianna at Fishkill Farms. Same place I have been going to for as long as I can remember. Glad I can keep the tradition going with my family now. We had a great time hanging out in the trees and getting our own apples. Apple cider donuts at the end were great too! I have about 20 pounds of apples now, need to start making pies. It was interesting seeing this year that all the apples were covered in whiteish-gray dirt. Turns out it pays to read the map since it informs you that it’s clay on all the apples, a completely healthy alternative to pesticide. I thought that was pretty neat.
